Mr Wilson has captured a whole load of good information.

I started at Tockwith (between Wetherby and York) as did many of the local stars of today including last year's S1 Junior Max champion Luke Varley and multiple British Champ and Ginetta driver Nigel Moore. There is a race meeting there each month (just missed last weekend)but more inportantly the circuit is open every day for testing. Most weekends have a spectrum of abilities and classes. It would be worthwhile having a trip over (when it is dry) and chat to the drivers. I am not there that often due to race commitments elsewhere, however, Prokart and Cadet number 13 is me - oh and you can't miss the Lard Ass logos.

Also there is a separate outdoor hire kart circuit that run a fleet of prokarts (Pro Am karting). They do have arrive and drive opportunities also.
