Being brutal, the reason you are having a problems is that you think ANYONE could diagnose TWO problems from such limited information!
It CANNOT be done!
Karting is MUCH more complicated than that!
You haven't even told us the AGE of your tyres, you pressures, the makes, the number of hours they've done, you weight distibution, how you moved the steering wheel while driving, your axle width, the last time you rebuilt the carb, the fuel mix you used , the amount the kart smoked on the straights...... etc. etc.! You haven't even told us if the track was WET! Nor have you told us you EXPERIENCE of driving: is this you first kart, are you on black plates or are you usually WELL up the table in the results?
Secondly, you haven't told us what you tried to CORRECT the problems! E.g., if you have ALREADY tried new tyres, we'll be wasting our time suggesting that you do!
Give us more details and we'll have a chance. If not, read more on the subject of HOW to set your weight distribution, axle width, carb, tyre pressures, etc., etc., and try those things first!
