Karl...... fif you are a school teacher, then we have to give you 3 out of 10 for THAT question!

You haven't even STARTED to tell us enough to be able to help you! Our first question would HAVE to be.... what level of mechanical knowldge do YOU have and/or what access to that knowledge do you have?

From you question, I suspect you don't have much knowlege of karting so your best bet would be to ask the forum if someone would come along and give you advice as to what is usable and what is DANGEROUS!

If I am wrong, then tell us MORE and we'll see what we can do to help.

However, as my daughter is training to BE a teacher, I would be advising her to get someone to come and have a LOOK at it all before she even STARTED on the projects!

We really ARE nice people here and I am sure someone will volunteer to come along and advise you! So.... where ARE you?
