Hello Grimsbypirate
Thank you very, very much for your message with regards to Lucas getting a 2nd and with it also clinching the 2008 Comer Cadet Championship at Lodge road Tattershall on Sunday.
It was great that there was a healthy grid of Comers plus some quality top drivers there to.
Believe it or not I told Lou not to mix it with the front runners as he only needed a top 7 finish to clinch the championship and we didnt want to risk a DNF, once the flag had dropped my advice to him lasted about 1 sec !! he just loves racing and trying to get the win.
It is nearly 12 Months to the day that Lou had his first ever race at Coningsby airfield on a freezing cold November morning.
We are now thinking about the 2009 season and will probably compete in 2 MSA club champs,not sure which ones yet but I know it will present new challenges and more learning.
I have to agree with what Dave Charity said in that it was great to see all the kids playing afterwoods as friends regardless of the results.
