To back up the above posts we supply new chassis from stock and we also have currently 10 chassis running to choose from. It is interesting that each chassis although essentially identical to each other all drive very differently even when the same set ups are applied so don't think that a New chassis is any worse or indeed better than the old one because you always need to fine tune the set up to get the desired feel which will probably change for each drivers desires.
Interestingly we ran a test at the start of the season for a customer who was looking to buy one of our team chassis, he tried it then drove 2 of our other karts (newer and proven race winners) but preferred the older chassis. He then tried my kart and instantly set a rapid lap time and came in saying that was the one!! All of our karts appeared the same but felt very different! He bought a brand new one and loved it !!!
