Our clerks oversee the track behaviour, the scrutineers oversee the kart eligibility, so there is two different departments.
Our wonderful scrutineers are very sensible and operate in a manner that is fair and not subject to the 'stupidity rule' that others might be.
A bit like oldfashioned 'coppering'.
If they find you underweight they will deal with it.
In exactly the same way as the clerks will deal with all four legs not touching if you decide to abuse them and poke them in their blind eye with a sharp stick.
They don't however wear tunip heads and have the ability to make rational decisions.
Soft carbon build up in wet conditions and head volumes come to mind.
