For those who seem to have misread my original post - I asked for suppliers of GOOD kit at a reasonable price. Not for cheap tat that isn't going to be of any use.

But thanks for comments on the size of the chassis - it's something I have been thinking about, mainly because of the physical side of things rather than any thing else. He may find it a bit of a handful in that respect. But out of interest, what are the other arguments against a full size chassis?

I don't intend of sending him out at for his first time on a busy track, preferably empty to be honest, and reduce all risk in that way.

And perhaps boiler suit was the wrong terminology, I was thinking along the lines of the suits used for corporate karting events. In those event, (and I don't intend for him to be going any faster than those things at first without better equipment), they are happy with standard gloves and trainers, and boiler-like suits.
