Errrr.... yes!
The centre of mass (Centre of Gravity) is SO well placed in a kart that it's not really a problem!
One test you out to try for yourself to SEE this effect. Stand you kart on it's SIDE by raising the OTHER side! Look how STAGGERINGLY far you need to lift the kart to make it want to fall ALL the way over!
Next, sit IN the kart and get someone ELSE to lift YOU in the same way. You simply will NOT believe the angle you need to make it tip! It's WAY up in the 80 degrees raange!
Secondly, the heavy parts of the kart are all around the centre. That means that the parts which overhand are pretty damned LIGHT!
Go to almost any meatrting and you'll see trailers of this typoe being used with no problems!
Obviously, the bigger trailer you can afford... the better but we all have budget constraints!
