The 25 mm stubs were 76.00 in Sept last year, before the pound dropped. So that is a rise pretty much in line with how much the pound has dropped.
If all parts are made in the UK from UK sourced materials, there should be normal price rises, but anything bought in dollars or euro's will be more expensive.
Who is to say that the UK manufacturers are not going to take the opportunity to make a bit more of a profit whilst still staying competitive against foriegn companies.
We are doing motorsport for the fun and enjoyment of racing. We can stop if it gets too expensive.
The companies are doing it to make money pay for developement etc and pay their mortgages and their staff. They cant stop, they have to survive or go to the wall.
Instead of complaining about the price of parts, maybe we should all think about this being a non contact sport and then all our equipment would last a bit longer and not be such a drain on the budget.
