Why oh why would you want to listen to your ipod when you have got the sweetest sound of an engine revving to 13,000 revs behind you!
On a serious note I really cannot recommend it, listening to your engine is a great way of a) working out where you may be spinning the wheels in the wet b)noticing if there is anything wrong, particularly with the exhaust c) listening to any karts around you.
Never mind the legality of it, it can be just plain dangerous because you will nt be able to hear any faults with the kart, and your spacial awareness will be impared because you will eliminating one of just two senses that you use in spatial awareness. Not to mention the fact that it could get wrapped around your neck should you have a bad accident, and Tockwith is particularly renowned for karts flipping.
Please please please do not do it.
