Welllll.....
It depends.....
If those IDIOTS at the FIA gave us ANY idea of their proposals, the statistics involved (how MANY chest injuries have there been) so that we NEED colapsible steering columns and what sort of PROPER SCIENTIFIC STUDIES they have been doing, then we MIGHT believe and support them.
It is noticed that the suggestion about the new rear bumpers will save 'launching' accidents.... so.... EXACTLY what sort of TESTS have the carried out to CHECK these (bizarre) claims? And what sort of work have they done using OUR (the British) experiences in HAVING wide bumpers for FIFTEEN YEARS and the fact that we ALL KNOW the such wide bumpers INCREASE the amount of SHUNTING........?
Let's be honest, twe already KNOW the answers.... there will be NO studies and there will be NO PROPER SCIENTIFUC TESTS......
So.... even though the CONCEPT may be a wise one (more safety), knowing the FIA.... we already K*N*O*W that the final proposals will be UTTER SHYTE!
