but you wouldn't appeal at the time if you were persuaded that they were right would you ?- and they were very confident that the points had to be applied ( not just one clerk but 2 )-after all there is a certain level of trust they they should be right isn't there? after all they are qualified and experienced -and generally as the nice person I am I wouldn't argue unless I was absolutely certain about something - but now find out that they weren't right - can't do anything about it now ,or Can I? We can't have the situation where everyone tries to appeal everything on the off chance the Stewards might think differently - my cheque book is stretched far enough thanks ! and the protest/appeal fees are undoubtedly set at a level that deters most people from protest/ appeal in reality
