Just for those who may not understand the units of thermal conductivity, and what it means, in simple terms some metals conduct heat better than others. Of the common metals, Copper is the best conductor of heat ( hence why we have copper saucepans !) with Silver and Gold not quite as good. Aluminium conducts heat at about 60% the rate of copper ( why some cheap saucepans are Aluminium ?).. and Magnesium at less than 40% the rate of copper. You might like to note that Steel is a much slower conductor at around 12 % the rate of copper ( thats why Stainless steel saucepans have copper bottoms !)
So, if you believe that Mag wheels are an improvement due to their thermal properties,...you may want to try some steel wheels which should be even better !
