How do you conclude ... "as mag wheels require less material they will be lighter and acheive a faster homogeneous temperature than standard al alloy wheels"
..WHY will they require less material ?? Due to their lower yield strength ( = brittle) , mag wheels are often made with thicker metal section than Al alloy wheels.
...sure they will be lighter (because of the density difference), ..BUT they transfer heat slower, so by definition they will take LONGER to reach a homogeneous temperature than standard al alloy wheels ( more so if the metal is thicker).
For some reason ,you (along with many others) have committed to the "karting folk law" that Mag wheels lose heat faster than alloy, and now refuse to accept that that theory is simply wrong ! so , stop thrashing about and digging yourself into a hole before you suffocate in the hot air you are generating !
