Brian, I remember working in my summer holidays with a diesel fitter before going to uni he used easystart to get old worn engines to run and I often heard others talk about engines getting the liking for easystart and the fact that once you started using it then for that engine you always had to.
However the reality is that if an engine regularly needs easystart to start then that is simply an indication that the engine is in dire need of a rebuild due to the lack of compression and general wear and tear, not because you have used easystart!
In the case of Buzzin's generator he says he has a weak spark, he's not to sure about the fuel system etc.. and therefore in my view this is an idea candidate for easystart as it replaces the fuel system for a few moments and is very combustible, so if his genny will not start with a quick sniff of easystart then it has real problems!
