Hi Steve,

Long time no see, hope all is well with you.

My broken knee is still .............. err broken! So not alot of change their really! Just got the added bonus of the metal work poking through - I wouldnt recommend it!

Jim is not now involved with the Karting now but still runs Oval events. The new guy running it is called Steve - really nice guy and very helpfull. He said he would be interested in doing a series between the 2 clubs and also running a few sprint races in the evening through the summer too.

As for gearing i set the kart up last year before the snowed off meeting so cant remeber what gearing it was but i remember i added 2 teeth from the Matchams set up (but then im heavier than most karters!!). Have you still not been? Get down their. Although its pretty narrow in places (although i think that may change) its a good layout and lots of make or break corners. I really enjoyed it and being they are open every day of the week for practice its ideal.

Still pretty stuck on Sundays due to work, but if you fancy a practice day out at either Matchams or Angmering give me a shout - maybe try and get a few more people out too.
