The below quote has been posted on the Scottish Karting website forum!
Just incase some of you dont go there I have copied it to here.

"The Committee of the West of Scotland Kart Club offers its sincere apologies to all the competitors, teams and families who were affected by the cancellation of the race meeting on the 21st of June. This was due to the non-arrival of the additional ambulance cover required for the larger than normal entry.

We fully understand the frustration and disappointment that this caused. We wish to assure competitors that the club is taking every step to learn the lessons from this situation and to ensure that this sort of problem does not happen again. The Committee will be meeting as a matter of urgency to address the issue of entry fees and to clarify to members the championship points situation.

We will publish further information soon.
