Tried to get a new case from AMB and got the response below, pretty unbelievable, did not ask for a battery, I asked for a new casing, either way they just want people to buy new ones, rant over!

"Thank you for your reply. I have checked your transponder number in our database and your transponder is from 2000.

Unfortunately I have to inform you that your transponder is heading the end of his lifetime. We do not replace batteries since they are covered with an epoxy protection coat and the type of battery in your transponder may no longer be used due EU regulations.

The only advice I can give you is to replace the transponder by a new one. You can order it on our web shop, through e-mail or if you prefer through our reseller in the UK.

I apologize for the inconvenience. In case you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us"
