it obviously does have safety issues, this isnt the only thread that has been started reguarding the nosecone. they admit it does not conform so why they still allow the use is beyond me.
as HC64 states they will allow the use of this but not perfectly good helmets?

im willing to put money down now that come the new holomagation the zip nosecone will still be in use as its their trademark so to speak.

all i can say is now that the issue has been brought to light, if a kid is serioulsy hurt they are leaving them self open to litagation, as they have had the chance to remove it after hearing the voice of concerned parents!
