richydehav..i have seen a zip facing the wrong was on the track after a spin...and another kart being launched over the top of it due to this ramp like bumper...also seen similar accidents with flat fronted bumpers, that we use..both karts just bounced off each other...also the slightest of taps from behing from a storm is enough to lift one if not both rear wheels...you can imagine how effective your breaks are going into a hairpin with no rear wheels in contact with the ground. IMO this can be resolved easily by replaceing the front bumper with one that has a flat front on it...karting is a dangerous sport, there is no getting away from it, but lets take simple steps to remove this apparent danger...its only a front bumper...not a full kart re-design.
ps...think the new helmet regs are for juniors too...up to age 15 i think.
