The problem at the moment is video evidence is not allowed to be used to back up evidence for on track incidences when using the normal MSA procedures. However as more and more drivers have cameras on there karts and more tracks have cctv around the track , it should be at least explored for the usefulness and fairness of the evidence. It would definitely sort out the first corner incidences and highlight the drivers who consistently gain places by binning the opposition, and also the brake testers . Rear facing cameras are a good idea for the top 6 on the grid for the finals to see who is loading at the start, would certainly calm down some exuberant drivers for the first lap at least . I am sure if they were available many drivers would pay to have them fitted , not only to give them some come back if an incident occurs but also the video after the race is a very powerful tool to review the race and improve the driving techniques.
