Dear BD
Along with my son Fergus, I competed at the NKRA finals at Glan Y Gors. I saw no signs of advantage in either the Junior or Senior Blue classes. The Junior racing in the finals just vindicated their performance in the heats as did the Seniors. Indeed all engines were marked at the beginning and checked every heat for changes. During the heats all the front runners were checked, I personally even had the reed thicknesses checked. After the finals the front six engines were dismantled and checked, 4,5, and 6 at the track and the front three at Weymouth. None of these engines were found to be non compliant.
If you would be kind enough to say exactly who you mean it would be possible to look at their times, but I don't suppose you will.
Chinese whispers like this only imply sour grapes and help no one. Perhaps you did not notice that the weather was very changeable and getting the wrong setup was easy, but then maybe you only see what you want to. Feel free to ring me to discus this. Cheers Steve 07831225425
