As the last few posts say... these rule changes are great news for people coming into karting or looking to move to TKM... but it's a total nightmare for those already in the class!!
Imagine you're a current TKM frontrunner or are hoping to be competitive next season... exactly what chassis do you buy - a TKM one, a CIK one... or both?
What happens if at the sharp end in S1 some are on CIK chassis and some on old style ones (which won't last forever and could command rarity value) and the quickest chassis changes from circuit to circuit or with conditions? European teams probably don't have as many variables!
To sum up, I predict a fair number of people entering TKM next season (midfield runners and people just in it for the fun) but I am confident that a fair number will also leave (Probably anyone who has been doing well on a budget and frontrunners who get it wrong initially).
