Hi All

I am Martyn, 27yrs old and brand spanking new to the karting scene. My sporting background was international athletics so apart from loving motorsport on tv I have never participated. I went and did my ARKS test on Monday which I passed but having never been in a kart before I need to find my feet under the table now. I want to start racing but cant afford silly money....by that I mean triathlon was costing me �15000 plus a year. I am thinking of TKM etc and maybe a second hand kart but really have no idea what I am doing. Also I need a decent kart club so I am thinking Hoddesdon is the closest one to me to race for? I am 6'1 and just under 12stone so will I need the heavier class too. Anyone who can help please do so.... I am so lost :-(
