I'd go for the honda class, There's a big grid of them at bayford (not sure about buckmore, but probs is), and as he's only young and new to the sport, it's probably better than a minimax. But you can progress in to that later, as they also run big grids of mini, junior and senior. TKM is non existant around here, so much most of the time i think i'm the only one :( lol Honda isn't expensive as others have said, and is a good class to start in. Everyone friendly at bayford, as i've recently found out as i'm quite new to karting aswell. Project one are also at bayford, and they run Hondas in the club championship, so would also be on hand if you needed help. Hope to see you down there sometime =) Thomas...........
