Cosgrave suggests others are talking rubbish. As my memory of MSA racing in the northeast goes back to the 90's lets talk facts. The DYKC club has been around since 1997 ( formerly known as WLKC) with many of the former WLKC committee on the DYKC committee. WLKC struggled to attract sufficent entrants in 10 years of racing to keep a viable club at Warden Law. They moved to Teesside and have struggled in the same way. No one knows why the NE cannot establish MSA racing least of all me. Bob Pope has been very supportive of the new club throughout 2009 but he, like all businesses, needs to maintain a viable business. As takings on a Sunday are second only to a Saturday then a circuit operator needs to maximise income on those 2 days every week. If an MSA kart club wants to run on a Monday then they are welcome here. As regards non MSA racing as an alternative to MSA racing in the NE I have checked to see when Cosgrave raced here at W Law. You have not raced non MSA so maybe you should give it a try before you post negative comments about it. Bob should be thanked for his support of DYKC not criticised.
