i have raced non MSA which IS exactally the reason we changed over to MSA racing due to the lack of rule enforcement, poor scruiteneering and the fact that you simply do know if what your racing against is legal or not. there is less of a chance in MSA racing for people to take risks as ther is in NON MSA.
i pay the extra money to know thats its atleast half fair as opposed to totally bent, and you know the karts your racing against are atleast maintained. many occasions in non MSA have i been just waved thru scruitneering without the kart even being looked at! EXACTALLY!
i dont think i have been overly critical of teesside, im just giving my view of the past year, as someone who supported DYKC/teesside, everyone is entiltled to their own opinion and i think its fair to say i have been honest in what i have said. i havent streched the truth in anyway, the club failed because it wasnt given a chance, you cant judge it in just one year of running. im sure that DYKC/Teesside would have gone on to bigger and better things, and im sorry to be critical but i find it hard to believe that teesside made that much of a loss in the 7 days that the club ran last year, because thats all we are talking about.
