I am also facing the same options (I agree with the previous poster though, NOT Max).
It seems that the rebuild times of the KF3's are approximately half that of the Blue i.e. 10-15 hours. They also have the balancer shaft and associated gears to service, which the Blue doesn't have.
I'm not sure, but it seems that they may go through pistons at quite a rate in comparison - the IAME manual for the Reedster (KF engine) states 4 hours as the recommended piston change intervals, although that may only be to maintain optimum performance and is not essential for the club level racer.
In principle I very much like the idea of this (open!) class, as it could make the structure of UK Karting much more logical, although there are already far too many classes as it is.
Has anyone heard any talk of clubs other than PFi considering running KF Clubman next year (north of the border especially)?
