Reg,

It is with great sadness that I heard of Andy's passing. I will remember him as a shy young man when he came over to race at Clay many many years ago, a very different individual wrestling a 250 up Bouley Bay sometime later and a Jersey team member coming in the pits at Le MANS in the middle of the night with a sick engine but a big smile on his face. We have lost a true enthusiast, a gentleman, a credit to our sport and hell of a nice bloke! I spoke to Biff last night and both of us would like to express our condoleances to Andy's family as well as all his karting friends in Jersey. Channel Islands karting has lost one of its stars, but let us hope that a track is not too far away from the place Andy has gone to. Goodbye friend.
