I think a lot of people have missed the point when they say that a forward facing camera will not show who took you out... I agree but the forward facing camera footage (needs to show their pedals) from the accused driver should show who was doing the taking out - however this would require the observers to keep a note of suspect drivers during the race so that they would know whos footage was a priority to look at afterwards, so officials would still need to be more vigilant, but at least they would have a chance to investigate the video from the karts involved before making their report...

Admittedly this could still be difficult in a first corner pile up and an even better option would be helmet cameras, set so that the footage included most of the steering wheel as well as the pedals.
