Too true unfortunately. I think its been the recession rather than having too many classes that has seen numbers dwindle though. I've only been karting since 2006 and i started in TKM but even 4 years ago there was still way too many classes, everything we have now with the exception of KF clubman and there was A and B finals for TKM at shenny, Whilton and Kimbolton. I race at kim and on more than one occasion last year i think there were 6 TKM's. If youre on a budget anyway then motorsport is the first thing to go when a recession bites! So i reckon we should all chill out and see what happens to numbers again once the economy gets back to its feet. Any old skool karters out there remember what happened to numbers in the last recession? just out of interest?
