Are you French John? Your attitude seems remarkably like the Dinosaurs we have here who are forcing karting to disappear up it's own backside.
The select few who can afford it would disagree but otherwise karters are leaving in their droves, simply because of the cost and with no other option they just pack in the sport.
If I was in the UK, I would do Easykart and perhaps some Club racing as well. Because I couldn't afford to race Nationally in MSA and wouldn't want to be tied to just 1 or 2 circuits at club level. Further more I want to see how good my kids driving is, not how good their Team Mechanic or engine builder is or how my wallet measures up to the chap in the motorhome next door.
In France there is no choice, not even viable club racing now, so we're going Mountain bike racing instead.
