Senna was a good driver but by no means perfect. He made plenty of mistakes en route to F1 and while he was there.
Its dangerously untrue to say that people can not benefit from instruction/tuition/advice and that they will learn the optimal way to do things on their own. Apply that logic to everything in life and nobody would need schooling or training in anything. The world would simply be divided into 'talented' people who apparently had the inate ability to do things and 'untalented' people who would be useless.
Most kart drivers will benefit from driving coaching and tuition and the Doves and Gary Chapman are pretty good at it. For the 'talented', a day of coaching will give you another perspective on how to do things and some ideas to try that you may not have thought of previously.
