just read the post and wanted to reply to the last post.... we (my son and i ) went to a meeting WITH the faxed MSA document saying that he did have the correct licence, but it was away for upgrading, and the MSA official still decided to (at his discretion) to charge us the £50 costs! i tried my best to understand from him why he insisted it was up to the MSA when they had actually been very helpful in sending the fax to me in the first place. i then wrote to the MSA to ask why i had the fax but the MSA steward at the meeting decided to still impose the costs, obviously i got no answer, so you have all been warned!!! turn up with a fax confirmation and you may STILL have to pay the £50 "non production of a licence" fee!
