We discussed this before Ben, while no doubt every effort should be taken to meet accepted broadcast standards, I actually think Motors taking less than perfect submissions to be more of a virtue than a negative for as you say it's allowing something that would not ordinarily be seen, to be seen.
It also allows for championships like Super1, and lesser standing champs, or even club championships, affordable and minority sports within a reasonable cost of production. Sort of bottom up, to get noticed, rather than waiting for BBC/Sky to come top down to 'discover' it.
Where if the sport is a compelling product, it can be a stepping stone to more 'mainstream' outlet. A broad church with room for plenty.
It's all good, but of course, could always be better. Karting, done right, and relatively cheap, is perfect for TV.
