At Rye there are 4 x 25.5 Kg weights for tesing on the day.
The scales always weigh the four weights at a recorded 102 Kg.
All four cormers and the centre also record 102 Kg.
YET, peole still say the scales are out by up to 4 Kg
You get the arguements that they weigh differently from Whilton or Kimbolton.
It is the scales for the day though and you have to abide by them like everyone else.
You can ask for the certificate to be shown and for the check weights to be used.
Some are set to show 1/10 Kg increments and some are set for 1/2 Kg increments but at the end of the day a Kg makes no difference so why run the risk?
In hot weather you can lose a lot of weight and a wet suit or jumper is weighty.
Even a bunch of keys makes a diffeence.
