"the Formula Blue grids are good and thats what its really aimed at,"
The NKRA is NOT aimed at Formula Blue, it is aimed at the whole range of classes in the championship.
The only difference between F Blue and the other classes is that the NKRA is the administrating authority for Formula Blue and runs the Blue National Championship inside the NKRA programme.
NKRA have tried hard to get other classes involved but despite some interest the need to provide a grid of 10 drivers in a region seems to act as a block to some classes.
It's also true that the NKRA needs to be pushed by people at each club and in each class, it cannot be done entirely by the committee.
One of the regular complaints made is that the committee don't issue "Numbers" for anyone buut the Blues, but it was felt by the MSA that there was too much room for confusion between NKRA Numbers and the national numbers for a class issued by other championships.
The other factor is that it is a clubman's championship and as such is driven through the clubs. Some drivers complain that they haven't seen or heard from anyone in their club since they joined it many years ago, which is a rather sad reflection on their relationship with their club, as by and large the clubs are supportive of the championship.
