What is exciting in participating in a national championship when the tyres are 1.2 seconds slower than they where last season and a snr rotax is slower than a Junior Max! The current max has absolutely no grip and is not at all pleasurable to drive. Call me old fashion but i liked the karting days when you go into a corner hard and the thing goes on two wheels not lose the rear before you even get in a corner.

The new kart is light, 5Kg lighter than a KF and Max, it has a carb the driver can find the optimum setting, starter motor, sticky tyres. It is over a second quicker than a max and 0.5sec off a KF2 and more importantly very cheap.

Sounds exciting to me and i for sure will be racing it next year.
