I like that..... I thought the idea was to be clearly understood by the READER and not by the WRITER. How were we supposed to know (for example) you didn't just mean that you'd asked some bloke in the pits 'does this look straight to you....?'?
Regardless, I'll still TRY to help you......
Have you checked if the total amount of movement (maxiumum angle) in the left wheel is identical to the total amount of movement in the right? (if the stub axle drag link is a different length or that you have used one set of 'spade holes' on the left and a different set on the right)
Was the steering CENTRED (exactly) before you set the tracking? Is the steering wheel 'on straight'?
Have you checked that the RATE of change of angle: i.e., watch the SPEED at which the left wheel changes direstion comnpared to the speed that the right changes direction?
I'll repeat an earlier question.... did you change ONE rear wheel?
Does the kart tend to turn right (or left) on the straight if he lets go of the wheel?
Have you used your wife's sewing tape measure to check the the CIRCUMFERENCE of the two rear wheels (when filled to the samne pressure) is IDENTICAL (down to half a millimeter)?
Have you checked that both stub axlkes are IDENTICAL (hold them back-to-back..... ideally, hold each one back-to-back with BRAND NEW stub axles)?
Have you run a tape diagonally from front left king pin to rear right axle clamp and comp[ared that the the diagonal the 'other way'?
Have you checked that the 'camber-caster) pills are mounted IDENTICALLY (handed, of course)?
Have you run a tape from FRONT left to REAR left axle clamp and compared that to the front RIGHT, rear RIGHT measurements? (Axle not been put in DEAD perpendicular)
Have you checked the number of shims/washers under-and-over the front stubs, both sides?
And so on......
There's probably another 50 of these that can be listed.... It's a BIT of a pain for US to do the questioning rather than you telling us the facts.... I'll still try my best, though.....
Another great trick would be to take GOOD photos of the front end showing many views and post them to a 'picture store' that we can all access. Then we might be able to see if there is anything obvious. Do that and post the address of those pictures here with any password etc....
I am TRYING to be helpful....
