I got my entry form recently but noticed in the SRs for this meeting (para 36) that practice is forbidden at the track from the Monday to the Thursday of race week.
Previously practice has been freely available, but some people had complained that it was turning a clubman's event into a week off work /school as some drivers had turned up on the Tuesday. Apparently the NKRA committee and the club, as with other championships, agreed with the MSA that this wasn't in the interests of karting and the SR was produced.
I wondered whether it was enforceable and raised the question with the MSA. Their answer was that you accept the SR when you enter the event, like any of the other conditions of fitness and eligibility.
Like fitness and eligibility, you can be stopped on the day if you don't meet the conditions.
So it looks like I need to alter my holiday plans and not get there till Thursday afternoon / evening.
