I think you can beat that price if you are prepared to do a bit of work.
I have seen new Gillard chassis for less than that from main agents / distributors at Kartmania and on the net - plus some awning / set up / practice time included in the deal to help you find your way around your new chassis.
Depends where you are going to race.
Try Kart Parts UK, Henderson, Steve Ogden, Saltire or whoever is local to you.
Nothing against the company selling on ebay - they might also beat their own advertised deal if you talk to them.
Main question I would ask if I was anywhere paying close to list price: "Is it a 2011 model?" When you come to sell, it will make quite a difference in value over a 2010 chassis, even if it is unchanged.
