There seems a good chance that there may be Senior Blues racing at Dunkeswell next year, which would allow you to race without having to add any lead to your kart. The lowest senior weight with kart is 142 kg and tehre is no minimum driver weight.
I know there are several Senior Blue drivers who regard Dunks as their local and have been trying to get enough drivers together for a regular grid, and the NKRA have 2 regional challenge rounds scheduled there.
I understand that the younger Mansells tried Fred Powell's Blue last weekend (when 2 Counties championships visited Dunks) and found it to be as much fun as a Rotax. The karts put their power down in different ways leading to slightly different driving techniques.
The only problem with Blues (or an advantage if one looks at it another way) is that many of the drivers do the NKRA series, 8 meetings between February and July, so you don't always get a full grid at a club round. But since it is a regionally run champs you don't have to travel far (Dunks,Clay, Forest, and Llandow with the trip to Larkhall for the 'O'plate). Look it up on planetkarting.co.uk.
But Paul B should be able to give you a guide to Blue as well as Rotax.
