You are missing a bit of the point.
Long ago, Paul said someing daft (how unusual) and I pointed out that he was wrong. I can't remember what it was, now, but....He simply CANNOT get over this and has spent the last months trying to find a way of getting back at me. It's flattering, in some ways, but ultimately silly.
The best bit is that, each time he does it, it gives me yet another chance to show how silly he is!
For a long while, I took his 'claims' to have DEEP knowledge about karts and karting seriously and imagined he was one of the people who REGULARLY won at high level in Rotax. However, that simply didn't fit with the increasing number of HOWLERS he has made on the various subjects.
As you know (and as Martin will confirm) I was NEVER any good at karting! I was QUICK.... until the repeated, regular SHUNT which normally ended up with me in the scenery (often needing a new helmet!) watching Goffy or Mad-Chris Dagless drive off into the distance... far too often with my paint on their chassis.... (oooo, controverial or what!)! Too much over-excitement, too many 'daring' manoeuvres and too many bad choices of equipment!
I was not much better as a mechanic for James, either!
I do NOT claim to be an 'expert': I just have YEARS of experience in recognising hype from reality and I try to give that advice to the newbies, here! That seems to annoy Paul, WILDLY!
Anyway.... his name-calling is not a great worry.... I have been called FAR worse by BRAVER people to my face! A cowardly little TW*T using childish names is not a real problem! Thanks for your interest, though!
Regards to that old fool Martin .... and to the family, of course!
