Some of those figures seem a little frightening!
For JTKM we spend per 2 day meet (sat prac / sun race)
Entry �90
Fuel for kart �15 inc oil
Chain Sprocket etc average about �5
Tyres we have 2 sets we use for practice 1 set for racing. Race tyres will last around 5 meetings and then become saturday practice tyres �25
Bodywork �10
Engine again we have a practice and a race engine so both would be rebuilt once a season. �50
Total �195
I haven't included petrol for car as would be doing something else if not karting. Now have a caravan so food costs etc same as would be at home.
Not to bad really except when you add in the �3,500 I've just spent on chassis and engine plus buying the caravan plus running my Jeep cherokee around all week so I can tow the caravan it starts to come up to around �600 per meet.

Damn I wished I hadn't worked that one out.
