Daryl,

Firstly welcome to the board - I am sure you will have loads of questions and there are normally a good number of people on hear that will be able to answer anything (karting related ) that you post. The majority of us Prokarters tend to hover around on the 4 stroke Forum. So for a wider audience you might wish to post in there.

I notice from your profile you are based in Staffs - not sure where exactly but big county! Sprint racing tends to be held in the North with good grids at Warden Law (Sunderland - long way but worth the trip) and PFI (Lincolnshire). In addition there is a national championship run under the MSA commencing this year (Kartmania Honda Challege - you will see adverts in the banners above).

Enduro in the North are held at 3 Sisters, Wigan which is very well supported and possibly GYG in North Wales but there are others that I just can't recall right now. Nationally the biggest chapionship is EPEC (see Teesside Karting's web site for details) and a predominatly southern based championship called EKC.

Best advice is to vist a local club or series that you are interested in and ask daft lad questions - just avoid intense peiods during race days and you should get an idea of what is involved.
