Ah.... what fun....... It's nice to be back!

Someone asks about 'growing room' when buying a helmet. Like any REASONABLE parent, I was HORRIFIED by that concept and tried my best to warn YOU (and any OTHER parents reading the threads) about the dangers of that idea. .... and it turns out that, solely BECAUSE of that, I am some sort of landed gentry who can afford to have a hand-fitted, probably diamond encrusted, helmet......

I would suggest that you ask ANYONE who knew our Father and Son team quite how MUCH second-hand stuff we used and how much of a 'cheap-skate' I am.... it'll give them a laugh.....

Put more simply...... don't blame ME if YOU use the term 'growing room'..... We all knew EXACTLY what you meant!
