I'd just like to add my bit to this discussion, what a load of bo*&^ks, Daddy money, are you lot gealous or something, did your daddy's not love you?? Myself and my wife go racing with my son every meeting and we pay a large part of the costs. We pay this because we love racing. We have had quite a bit of success at club level but most of all we have had loads of fun and met lots of great people. We go away as a family karting at least twice a month, I build his engines and mechanic for him, even my wife was in the van cleaning and setting carbs up at the weekend! My son is one of the cleanest drivers we know, ask anyone, this weekend in the first heat in heavy rain he clipped another driver when he went past a bit heavy and immediately let him back past. We are doing super 1 this year for the experience, it is very expensive but it is something that we all wanted to do. My son hates damaging his karts and is fully aware of the costs to us when this happens. Don't generalise it offends!!
