We are probably only one of a handful of father and son teams in S1 Rotax Seniors....and proud of it of course.... Having read this thread with interest I would say that most Senior engines out there now are pretty close to one another, the drivers are equally close with varying strengths throughout, the carbs are there or there abouts.... Knowledge and know how is very similar.... For us we feel any advantage may come in the chassis itself ?!!! As a TRUE privateer we are regularly quicker than the " main " teams and consistant both in S1 and club..... We have fallen on the side of having a chassis that DIDN'T work for us so we could have had a turbo on our engine, it still wouldnt have been competitive Lol. Its a great feeling though guys when you can compete with these " top " teams AND be faster than them....as a dad and his lad !
