Let's be honest, Nobby.... I wasn't arguing with you....
What I was doing was pointing out (hopefully) to anyone else who wants to copy you that they are taking the same risk YOU did. You have GUESSED that it'll be OK. Some may be happy to take that risk.... others will think that's not a risk THEY are happy to take.
Becasue you have painted BOTH your kids' helmets is not what I'd call: 'proof' that it's 'safe'!

It's a compnay selling helmet painting lessons. It list in it's opening pages:-
"What will you learn? �Safety aspects of helmet painting �Knowing what helmets to paint and not to paint etc......"
.... clearly, there are SOME helmets that you should NOT paint.... I don't know which ones those are but, luckily, you do......
