That's just rubbish!
I can prove it by reference to 'drifters' who repeatedly slide a car through ANY length corner on decent quantities of opposite lock. If you can manage it on opposite lock, the you CAN manage it on neutral lock! Watch rally drivers!
Find the video of the world record slide: done with an Impreza on a circular track by the Scooby club. The car held a slide round the circle until the car ran out of fuel! The lock never waivered from neutral/opposite for the 2 hours or so that it ran!
It's one of the reasons we use the left-right (or right-left ("Scaninavian") 'flick'. It sets the kart up to the correct angle of entry with little or no lock.
Just watch videos of the seriously quick guys.... Terry, as a great example....you CANNOT miss what they are doing!
